Honouring leadership through campus portrait display
UNSW’s collection of 17 official portraits – featuring past UNSW’s collection of official portraits of past Chancellors and Vice-Chancellors has been thoughtfully installed across the Kensington Campus. This public display recognises the University’s legacy of leadership and makes these works more accessible to the UNSW community and visitors.Â
UNSW has commissioned portraits of its leaders since 1957, and they are an invaluable historical record of UNSW. The artists include some of Australia’s leading portrait artists and Archibald Prize winners including Clifton Pugh, Ivor Hele and Judy Cassab.Â
