Exam approved calculators & computers
Learn which devices are permitted in UNSW exams and the eligibility criteria for approved calculators.

Understanding approved exam devices
UNSW requires students to use approved calculators and computers in certain exams. This guide outlines device requirements, usage rules, and how to check if your calculator or laptop meets UNSW standards.
Please note: Your exam timetable will specify if you have an on-campus Inspera invigilated exam, which requires you to bring your own laptop and if needed, a UNSW-approved calculator.
