Fees debt
Learn how unpaid fees affect your university access and essential student services, and how to clear your debt.

It’s important to pay your fees on time to avoid service blocks, fines, or cancellation of enrolment.
If your fees remain unpaid, your debt may be referred to a collection agency, and you will be responsible for any legal or administrative recovery costs. For international students, non-payment may also be reported to the Department of 91³ÉÈ˰涶Òô Affairs.
If you have an outstanding debt you will have a Denial of Services block placed on your student account, which will prevent you from accessing the following services:
- Examination results
- Access to buildings and computer labs
- Access to UNSW Library Services
- Official transcripts or any other official documentation issued by the University
- Graduation or re-enrolment (whichever is applicable)
Please be aware that the Higher Education Support Act defines the obligations on students in Commonwealth-supported places.
