Yun Xing is a PhD candidate at the School of Humanities and Languages, UNSW. She holds a Master’s degree in Global Media Communication from the University of Melbourne, with a master's thesis examining the ideologies of feminism and anti-feminism on Chinese social media. Her current PhD thesis explores the lived experiences of Chinese feminists navigating multiple contradictions and conflicts in the era of digital feminism. Her research interests include feminist studies, queer studies, media and communication, marriage and family, intercultural communication.
