
Noah Moonen is a PhD Candidate at the School of Marketing, UNSW Business School. His research investigates the social dynamics of consumer behavior, with a focus on how shared experiences, social influence, and emerging technologies such as extended reality (XR) can shape sustainable consumption. Noah’s work sits at the intersection of behavioral science, digital innovation, and environmental impact—bridging academic theory with real-world marketing challenges.
Before beginning his PhD, Noah completed the Master of Pre-Doctoral Business Studies at UNSW with High Distinction and holds an MSc in Entrepreneurship and SME Management from Maastricht University. He previously held a lecturer position at Maastricht University and served as the manager of the university’s Digital Experience Lab (DEXLab), where he gained hands-on experience in digital consumer research and experimental design.
Noah brings a strong academic foundation and applied expertise to his work, with a commitment to research that supports both business innovation and social responsibility.
