Fariha Zahra
Fariha Zahra is a PhD candidate in the School of Management and Governance. She is deeply interested in the human side of work (i.e., how we lead, how we manage emotions, and how we sustain ourselves within complex systems). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and spent some time working as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. She also holds an MBA (with a major in Human Resource Management) and recently completed a Master of Pre-Doctoral Business Studies (MPDBS) at UNSW.
Her research interests include leadership, diversity, marginalised voices, and occupational well-being. She is especially interested in the invisible emotional labour many carry, and how we can design workspaces that are not just efficient, but deeply humane.
