Android Guest WiFi guide
This guide helps UNSW guests connect Android devices to the UNSW Guest WiFi network.
Whether you're attending an event, visiting campus, or accessing online resources, follow these steps to get connected quickly.
Prerequisites:
- A working Android device with WiFi enabled
- A valid email addressÂ
Step 1
From your home screen, open the Settings app.
°Õ³ó±ð²Ô,Ìýselect Wi-Fi to open the Wi-Fi Settings page.
Step 2
On the Wi-Fi Settings page, select UNSW Guest.
A pop-up screen will then appear.
Step 3
In the Captive Wi-Fi pop-up screen:
- Type your Full Name and Email Address in the fields provided.
- Tick the checkbox to accept the terms and conditions.
- Tap the Submit.
You will see a welcome screen confirming your temporary access to the UNSW Guest Network.
Step 4
An email from ‘guestwireless@unsw.edu.au’ will be sent to the email address that you entered in Step 3
Navigate to your email to access the email message.
Note: If you cannot find the email from ‘g³Ü±ð²õ³Ù·É¾±°ù±ð±ô±ð²õ²õ°ª³Ü²Ô²õ·É.±ð»å³Ü.²¹³Ü’ in your inbox, check your junk or spam folder
Step 5
In the email from ‘g³Ü±ð²õ³Ù·É¾±°ù±ð±ô±ð²õ²õ°ª³Ü²Ô²õ·É.±ð»å³Ü.²¹³Ü’, select click here.
You will then be prompted to Confirm or Reject access. Select Confirm.
You have successfully connected to the UNSW Guest WiFi network.
